Kentai Bonsai is a digital subscription service. There's nothing physical to return — but here's exactly how money works on this service.

Free trial

Every new account gets 7 days of full access to AI care guidance with no card required and no charge at the end. If you don't subscribe, the AI panel is replaced with a "subscribe to continue" prompt and the rest of the service stays free.

Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

  • Billing page — go to /app/billing/ and click "Manage subscription".
  • Stripe portal — that link opens Stripe's hosted account page where you can cancel, change card or download invoices.

When you cancel, the subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period. After that, AI guidance switches off and the panel reverts to the free-trial-ended state.

Refunds

We don't refund partial periods. If you cancel halfway through a month, you keep AI access until the renewal date. Same applies to the yearly plan: cancel any time, no charge at the next renewal, but the current year is not pro-rated.

If something has gone wrong on our end — a billing error, a duplicate charge, an extended outage — email us at info@kentaibonsai.com and we'll sort it out. Statutory rights under UK consumer law are unaffected.

Marketplace transactions

Trees sold through the marketplace are sold by other users, not by us. We are not a party to the transaction, do not handle payment, do not arrange delivery, and cannot mediate disputes or process refunds. Buyer and seller arrange the sale directly. Please use common sense, view the tree in person where possible, and pay in a way that gives you recourse if something is wrong (bank transfer in person, or a payment service with buyer protection).

Deleting your account

Delete your account by emailing info@kentaibonsai.com. We'll cancel any active subscription and remove your tree data within 30 days. See the privacy policy for what we keep and for how long.
